Theragun

Theragun Percussive Therapy is massage reinvented™. Dr. Jason created percussive therapy to increase blood flow and decrease tension deep within the muscle, using scientifically-calibrated combination of speed and depth to treat your muscles comfortably by overriding the pain signals sent to the brain. The Theragun PRO has a 16mm amplitude that reaches 60% deeper into the muscle than consumer-grade vibration massagers to stimulate circulation, generate heat, and release your deepest tension. Thanks to a remarkably quiet, proprietary brushless motor that delivers the signature Theragun power, amplitude, and effectiveness, this professional percussive therapy device stands in a league of its own. Every day we’re discovering more benefits associated with Theragun Percussive Therapy. Dr. Jason works tirelessly to create and evolve new protocols that have tangible benefits in people’s lives. Some of the most common benefits include:
  • Decreases muscle soreness & stiffness
  • Faster warmup & recovery
  • Increases blood flow
  • Decreases lactic acid
  • Improves range of motion
  • Hydrates tissue
  • Improves stretching ability
With so many different types of "massage guns" on the market today, it is important to understand the differences between a simple vibration therapy versus an actual therapeutic percussive therapy. The main difference between the two is that percussive therapy reaches deeper into the muscle, 60% deeper, in fact. While vibration therapy feels good on the surface of the body, it’s a “global” experience as opposed to a targeted one. Percussive therapy targets treatment areas by reaching deep enough into the muscle to increase the amount of blood flow and oxygen needed for efficient treatment and recovery. Also, because Theragun Percussive Therapy devices touch the body and come off of it 40 times per second, the brain does not acclimate to the stimulation, making the therapy more effective.
